To get married in Indonesia there 2 procedures that must be
followed:
1st. Religious Ceremony
It is the blessing ceremony that will be lead by Minister of
Religion (Priest, Pastor, etc) of one 5 recognized religious
in Indonesia such as: Protestant, Catholic, Hindu, Moslem and
Buddhist. The Couple must be in the same religion to perform
the religious wedding ceremony. If one of the couple has no
or you are a different religion, the wedding would be hold in
Protestant way. You do not to convent; it is only the paper.
2nd, Civil Ceremony
It is the Legalizing of Marriage ceremony by the Indonesia Government
Civil Registrar. The couple is required to obatin a Certificate
of No Impediment (CNI) to get marry in Indonesia at their Embassy/Consulate
representative in Indonesia/Bali (as the place of the ceremony).
The nation of the nationality mentioned must be the same that
as stated in the passport.
After the both wedding ceremony has finished the spouse will
get 2 certificates of marriages, first is Religious Certificate
of marriage from Minister of Religion and second is Civil Certificate
of marriage from Indonesian Civil Register Officer.
Therefore, a legal Wedding in bali should be a Religious wedding
first and continued by the Civil Ceremony.
On your arrival in Bali you will only need to go to the Consulate
directly to apply the Letter Of No Impediment (CNI) and it would
be enough 2-3days prior the wedding to arrange the CNI, if there
is no public holidays, Saturday and Sunday on that day. It's
only need around 30 minutes to process the CNI at the Consulate.
2. BALINESE BLESSING CEREMONY
Many couples who are already legally married or for some reason
do not wish to be legally married in Bali but do wish to experience
a Balinese Ceremony may experience a Balinese Celebration. It
is important to know that this is not a Legal wedding ceremony
and no certification will be presented at the end of it. It
is a ceremony in which the celebrant prays for good things such
as safety, health and happiness for the couple. Please be advised
that it is not possible for any people who are not genuinely
of the Balinese Hindu faith to be married in the Balinese Hindu
style. It is preferred that the couple be dressed in Balinese
Costume.
3. COMMITMENT CEREMONY OR RENEWAL VOWS
Involving a lay officiant only and no Government register or
religious official. This is a ceremony for couples wishing to
experience a ceremony with special meaning to them in Bali-perhaps
to renew their vows. It is also suitable for couples who are
unable to be married to each other because they enjoy an alternative
lifestyle but wish to make a commitment to each other for a
life together.
4. ROYAL PALACE WEDDING CEREMONY
This is the complete package for couples who are looking for
something different for their wedding or wedding vows renewal.
Even without any family members attending this will be a truly
unforgettable experience in Balinese style.
5. CHURCH WEDDING CEREMONY
Married in one of Churches in Bali are interesting, we have
churches are that you could choose one of them, such as: Nusa
Dua, Kuta and Gianyar with unique building which is built in
unity between and modern style. The couple with two flower girls
will be proceed to the church that we already decorate with
lovely fresh flowers and will accompanying by beautiful choir
